Overview
Parallel Computational Fluid Dynamics (ParCFD) Conference 2012 is the 24th of series of annual international meetings since 1989 dedicated to the discussion of most recent developments and applications of parallel computing in the field of CFD and related disciplines. ParCFD conferences are truly multi-cultural and international attracting many researchers across the globe with diverse technical expertise either as developers or users of CFD technologies.

ParCFD2012 Conference
As in the past years, ParCFD 2012 will include contributed and invited papers. The conference program will mainly consist of contributed lectures to all scientific/technical areas of the conference. ParCFD2012 topics include, but are not limited to:

Abstracts
An abstract with maximum of two pages in the PDF format is required for presentations. All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by members of the Scientific Program Committee prior to acceptance. Originality, relevance, completeness, and clarity of the manuscript will be considered in the review process. Acceptance of the submitted abstracts will be communicated to the authors in due time. All accepted abstracts will be compiled into a single PDF file and will be made available through the conference website. We require one unique registration for each accepted abstract for presentation. If an individual is to present two accepted abstracts, she/he needs to register twice without any exception.

Abstract Format

Abstracts should be camera-ready. The paper size of 8.5 inches by 11 inches (A4) with one-inch margin in all four sides should be used. The font type is Times New Roman and the font size is 12, except the title of the abstract where the font size of 14 should be used. The text (including title and authors information) should be aligned to the left. There is one-line spacing between the paragraphs, before and after section titles, figures, and tables. Abstracts must include the presenting and contributing authors’ name, organization, and email address. Full Papers
Full papers of the accepted abstracts are optional and will be peer reviewed for publication in the special issue of the Computers & Fluids Journal. The submission process for full papers will be communicated to the presenting authors after the closing of the conference.

Parallel CFD 2012 Conference

ParCFD 2012 is the 24th of series of annual international meetings dedicated to the discussion of most recent developments and applications of parallel computing in the field of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and related disciplines.

Since the establishment of the international ParCFD conference series, parallel computers have become the dominant form of large-scale computing. Emergence of multi-core  processors and heterogeneous architectures as well as many-core graphics processing units for general-purpose technical computing has created new challenges and opportunities for numerical algorithm developments, applications, research, and performance optimization in advanced CFD technology.

ParCFD conferences are truly multi-cultural and international attracting many researchers across the globe with diverse technical expertise either as developer or user of CFD technologies. The last four ParCFD conferences were held in Barcelona (Spain) in 2011, Kaohsiung (Taiwan) in 2010, NASA Ames (USA) in 2009 and Lyon (France) in 2008. The ParCFD 2012 will be held in the vibrant and multi-cultural city of Atlanta during May 21-25, 2012.

As in past years, ParCFD 2012 will include contributed and invited papers and mini-workshops with specific themes. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
