Coming soon to theaters near you, Superhero movies will once again hit the Big Screen.
I truly recommended that you watch three movies based on legendary comic books: “X-men: First Class” that comes out on June 3, 2011, “Green Lantern” that comes out June 17, 2011 and “Captain America: The First Avenger” that comes out July 22, 2011. “X-men: First Class” includes famous veteran actors and actresses such as Kevin Bacon, Oliver Platt, and Zoe Kravtiz. “Green Lantern” will have noticeable actors such as Ryan Reynolds, Angela Bassett and Dennis Haysbert. “Captain America: The First Avenger features Tommy Lee Jones, Neal McDonough, and Chris Evans. The three movies include the origins of how these superheroes started in their respective mythologies.
X-men: First Class is a Prequel of all of the original x-men movies. The movie is set in the 1960’s era and you see a young Charles Xavier a.k.a Professor X who is played by James McAvoy and Erik Lensherr a.k.a as Magneto who is played by Michael Fassbender, who at the time discovered their mutant powers and other mutants with similar abilities. The two friends and their team of mutants fight against a group of evil mutant villains called the “Hell Fire Club” operated by mutant Sebastian Shaw played by Kevin Bacon.
Eventually Professor X and Magneto come to a disagreement. The two become great enemies and battle it out. Professor X creates a team up superheroes call the “X-Men” and Magneto creates a team of Villains called the “Brotherhood”.
Green Lantern is about a young man named Hal Jordan, a test pilot, who is played by Ryan Reynolds. One night Hal Jordan sees a mysterious green flying object crashing on earth. It was a spaceship with an alien named Abin Sur played by Temuera Morrison.
The alien tells Hal Jordan that he is the chosen one of the mystical green “ring” and the battery. The battery is used to replenish the rings powers. This ring transforms Hal Jordan into the Green Lantern. He is then commanded to keep peace around the universe. He takes an oath saying “In brightest day, in blackest night, No evil shall escape my sight, Let those who worship evil’s might, Beware of my power….Green Lantern Light!”
His enemy is Dr. Hector Hammond who is a scientist that has a huge brain and the power of psionic who is played by Peter Sarsgaard.
Captain America: The First Avenger is a movie about a young skinny out of shape soldier named Steve Rogers who is weak and can’t hang with his fellow American troops. Captain America is played by Chris Evans who also played the Human torch in the Fantastic Four movies.
Steve Rogers volunteers to do a top secret experimental test under the creator Colonel Chester Phillips who is played by Tommy Lee Jones.
Colonel Chester Phillips wants to create a super Soldier. He recruits Rogers to do the test and the test ends up coming out positive. Rogers turns into a fighting super soldier with enhanced abilities. His costume is the color of our American flag along with his shield. His arch Enemy is The “Red Skull” who is an American Business man who turned into a Nazi leader of spies and saboteurs.
