However, I think folks are missing the elephant in the room. We are conditioned to think a certain way based off past and current injustices. The media ramps up this fear on a 24 hour basis. Also, it goes without saying that Mississippi is not exactly a beacon of “progressive” thoughts and actions. Therefore, if you align yourself with so called news organizations that appear to be sympathetic to the plight of minorities, then you have already lost the battle. As journalists, I challenge you all to objectively investigate the facts with multiple sources. It sucks but you have to look at all sides before being able to make an informed decisions. Believe it or not, but the super wealthy (Folks who control the flow of information) don’t like Trump. If they don’t like him, then I think we all can give him a chance.
