Ameshya Williams<\/a>\u00a0its SWAC Women’s Basketball Player of the Week after back-to-back notable outings this past week.<\/p>\nThe Gulfport, Miss. native led Jackson State to a pair of wins over Alcorn State and Southern. The Lady Tigers have won 12 straight games and currently sit in first place in the league with an 11-0 record in league play.<\/p>\n
In JSU’s win over Alcorn State, Williams scored 14 points on 7-of-11 shooting from the field.
