The Richard Wright Center\u00a0for Writing, Rhetoric, and Research (RWC)\u00a0is affiliated with the\u00a0College of Liberal Arts<\/a>. The RWC is a site of student and faculty support, tutor professional development, and research into writers’ rhetorical awareness and flexibility.<\/p>\n

Our\u00a0mission\u00a0is to\u00a0provide an environment for intellectual engagement outside the classroom. At any stage of the creative and research processes, students and faculty have the opportunity to interact with trained tutors using technology as they develop written, oral, and visual representations of their ideas for an academic audience.<\/p>\n

At JSU, we all write! And\u00a0all<\/em>\u00a0writers need feedback.<\/p>\n

• In the RWC\u00a0experienced tutors offer feedback on papers, speeches, or research \u2013\u00a0at any stage of the creative process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  • Effective writers and speakers\u00a0talk with colleagues during their creative process \u2013 about ideas and different approaches for communicating them.<\/li>\n
  • Peer tutors\u00a0are students who have been\u00a0trained<\/a>\u00a0to offer feedback and like to talk with other students, like you, about ideas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
