<\/a>Donald Hewitt<\/strong> JSU suffered its second loss in two games at the hands of Tennessee State University Tigers at the 23rd annual Southern\u00a0 Heritage Classic. With this loss, Tennessee State leads the series 25-20-2.<\/p>\n The Tigers came in with the hopes of leaving the Southern Heritage classic with a win after\u00a0 winning the last to match-ups against TSU in previous classics, but the Tigers of Tennessee State had something to say about that.<\/p>\n Entering the first quarter\u00a0 JSU\u2019s defense stopped TSU\u2019s offense from gaining more than five yards on their first\u00a0 three drives. With JSU taking a 3 point lead at the end of the first quarter, TSU came out reenergized and foused in the second quarter as they scored twice in the second on their first two drives and scored again before the half.\u00a0 Entering the half, the score was 21 to 6 and the question was would JSU\u2019s offense answer?<\/p>\n The Tigers came out and punted on their first drive while TSU came out and picked up where they left off scoring 10 unanswered points, while JSU scored one Touchdown before the final as the game ended with a final score of 36-12.<\/p>\n Is JSU quarterback Clayton Moore the answer?<\/p>\n Entering the game he led the Tigers to their only Touchdown drive.
