<\/a>Bridget Robinson Junior Ayanna Hardy- Fuller\u2019s 17 points were not\u00a0 enough to overcome Prairie View A&M on Feb. 15 as The Lady Tigers fell 76-92 at the T.M. Elmore gymnasium.<\/p>\n With the loss, the Lady Tigers fall to 9-13 overall and 7-5 in Southwestern Athletic Conference record.<\/p>\n The Lady Panthers jumped out to a 13-2 lead at the 15:30 mark off of Jackson State\u2019s seven turnovers. The Lady Tigers racked up 27 by the end of the game.<\/p>\n JSU could not get a rhythm, shooting 36.7 % from the field (11-33) and 0.0% from the three-point line (0-3) in the first half. The Lady Panthers outscored the Lady Tigers 56-36.<\/p>\n In the second half, the Lady Tigers came out on fire, going on an 8-0 run cutting the Lady Panther lead 56-44 at the 17:37 mark. However, PVA&M kept their composure and never let JSU led the game.<\/p>\n PVA&M outscored JSU 40-36 from in the paint, 29-23 off of turnovers and 17-13 from second chance opportunities.<\/p>\n Jeanette Jackson led PVA&M with 28 points. LaReahn Washington racked up 24 points and Gabrielle Scott collected 16 points to add to the trio\u2019s double-digit figures. Shamiya Brooks dominated the boards with 11 rebounds.<\/p>\n Ekwara Ndongo collected 13 points and 6 rebounds, Dominique Brothern scored 11 points and Kameron Jones received 10 points and 6 rebounds.<\/p>\n In men\u2019s action, the Tigers fell to PVA&M 53-55, making it their second straight loss. Treshawn Bolden recorded his first double-double racking in 10 points and 12 rebounds. Derell Taylor led JSU in scoring with 14 points.<\/p>\n JSU outscored the Panthers 30-14 from in the paint and 15-8 from second chance points.
