<\/a>Maurice Richardson<\/strong> With the homecoming game this Saturday, the Jackson State University Blue Bengals are coming off an impressive win over Texas Southern 58-13. The Tigers played an oustanding game last Thursday on ESPNU in front of a crowd of over 26,000.<\/p>\n \u201cI hope we play like this on homecoming,\u201d said Thomas Hill, a business major from Atlanta, Ga.<\/p>\n Quarterback Casey Therriault had an impressive game going 15 out of 27 for 300 yards and three touchdowns.<\/p>\n Last year, JSU demolished the Golden Lions of theUniversity of Arkansas-Pine Bluff, 52-30.<\/p>\n \u201cIf JSU plays like they did against Texas Southern and is consistent on offense we will win our homecoming game and the rest of our games this season,\u201d said Charles Edward Cleave.<\/p>\n Therriault threw for 331 yards last year against UAPB, and the offense combined for a total of 560 yards. \u201cI always tailgate for the homecoming games,\u201d said Alexis Morris, a JSU graduate.<\/p>\n JSU finance professor, Larry Day, from Jackson, Miss.,\u00a0 believes the Tigers can assure a victory by controlling the ball.<\/p>\n \u201cThey need to make sure they don\u2019t have too many turnovers; they\u2019ve been turning the ball over a lot lately,\u201d he said .<\/p>\n The JSU football team competes this\u00a0 Saturday against UAPB.
