The like button on Facebook gets an upgrade<\/strong><\/p>\n

On last Wednesday, Feb. 24, Facebook unveiled its new update where users can now do more than just like a post. With the new \u201creactions\u201d feature, users can now react to a post with a variety of emotions.<\/p>\n

Users are now able to select emoji-based reactions to like posts such as \u201clove\u201d \u201chaha\u201d \u201cwow\u201d \u201csad\u201d and \u201cangry\u201d. To do this on the mobile app, hold down the like button and the variety of emotion emoji\u2019s will pop up. For desktop, simply hover the mouse over the like button.<\/p>\n

According to TheNextWeb.com, Facebook said that after more than a year of testing and research, the reactions are now ready for prime time. Also, users can expect to see more reactions being added in the future.<\/p>\n

#FreeKesha<\/strong><\/p>\n

Last week, a New York judge ruled against a court injunction that would get pop singer Kesha out of her six-album contract with Sony Music. The \u201cTik Tok\u201d singers number one reason for wanting to end her contract is to get away from producer Dr. Luke, who Kesha has accused of sexually, physically, and verbally abusing her for over 10 years.<\/p>\n

According to NY Daily News, Sony says that they have offered to let Kesha work with another producer, but the she fears that they won\u2019t promote her music.<\/p>\n

Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Shirley Kornreich refused to let the singer out of her contract stating that Sony would suffer \u201cirreparable harm\u201d and it would undermine the s<\/p>\n

Since the ruling, Kesha has received an outpouring of support from fans. Fans held a protest outside of Sony Headquarters and started the #FreeKesha movement, which has been trending on social media for over a week.<\/p>\n

Tons of celebrities have shown their support for Kesha as well, including Lady Gaga, Kelly Clarkson, Ariana Grande, and Taylor Swift, who donated $250,000.<\/p>\n

Kelly Clarkson tweeted, \u201cTrying to not say anything since I can\u2019t say anything nice about a person. So this is me not talking about Dr. Luke.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lady Gaga tweeted, \u201cThere are people all over the world who love you @KeshaRose. And I can say truly I am in awe of your bravery.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fans have started a GoFundMe to help raise money to buy the singer out of her contract with Sony.<\/p>\n

ABC gets first African-American president<\/strong><\/p>\n

ABC has made history by naming Channing Dungey the new president of the network, making her the first African-American to run a major network.<\/p>\n

Dungey replaced Paul Lee, who stepped down from the position because of differences with Ben Sherwood, co-chair of Disney Media Networks and president of Disney\/ABC Television Group.<\/p>\n

Before becoming president, Dungey was the executive vice president of ABC drama developments overseeing popular ABC shows including \u201cScandal\u201d, \u201cHow to Get Away with Murder\u201d and \u201cCriminal Minds\u201d. She has been working for ABC for seven years.<\/p>\n

In response to her historical appointment, Dungey expressed her gratitude.<\/p>\n
