As promotions for the fighttranspired, Broner came in with arrogance and a lot of confidence that he was going to beat Pacquiao. He even went far enough to say that, \u201cI will beat him and that\u2019s on God and nem.\u201d<\/p>\n
Throughout the conferences between the\u00a0two, Broner continued to speak with tremendous confidence and was sure he had the fight without a doubt. Pacquiao however\u00a0did not have much to say towards Broner.<\/p>\n
Duringmost of the meetings between to two, Pacquiao seemed to stay to\u00a0himselfand\u00a0spokeonlywhen asked a question. Pacquiao came into the fight\u00a0with a record of with 60 wins; 39 by\u00a0knockout,7 losses, and 2 draws, according to\u00a0BoxRec.com.<\/p>\n
Broner\u2019s record showed 33\u00a0wins,24 by\u00a0knockout,3 losses, and 1 draw according to BoxRec.com.<\/p>\n
Between Pacquiao and Broner, Pacquiaohad the experience and the better resume for a boxer by his experience in the ring. Broner had youth and his confidence on his side.<\/p>\n
Both fighters\u00a0had tremendous quickness, and has fought incredible fighters before\u00a0facing each other.<\/p>\n
Pacquiao controlled the fight from\u00a0roundone all the way to\u00a0round 12.Hecontinued to hit Broner with\u00a0combinationsand also landed\u00a0severalpowerful hooks and jabs.\u00a0Broner seemed overwhelmed with\u00a0Pacquiao\u2019s jabs, hooks, and combos to the body and\u00a0head.<\/p>\n
After the bout, videos of Pacquiao came out in which the boxer was practicing his jump-shot, playing around with his crew and all together having a good time.<\/p>\n
Alvin Brumfield, a physical education major from Hattiesburg, Miss., does not believe that Broner fought hard enough.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe (Broner) was fighting like he was sparring, he wasn\u2019t throwing enough punches. That\u2019s the reason he\u00a0lost,\u201d said Brumfield.<\/p>\n

Parker Deloach, a business administration major from Chicago, Ill., feels that Pacquiao\u2019s offense was too much for Broner.<\/p>\n

\u201cI felt like Broner fought very reserved and couldn\u2019t do much against Pacquiao\u2019s aggressive fighting style which cost him the fight,\u201d said Deloach.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
This fight\u00a0had potential to\u00a0be great and came out to be a show of pure domination, and skill from Pacquiao.<\/p>\n
The Pacquiao win over Broner has the boxing world ignited to see if there will be a Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather rematch.<\/p>\n
When asked after the fight, Pacquiao said that he would like for Mayweather to end his retirement so that the two can face each other once more. Boxing fans everywhere are in high hopes to see the undefeated Floyd Mayweather grace the ring again.<\/p>\n
According to Bleacher Report, when Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather faced off in May of 2015, the purse was in the neighborhood of $300 million. Could this be enough money for Floyd Mayweather to risk adding a loss to his 50-0 record?<\/p>\n
