Deion Sanders is the victim of yet another robbery of his team’s locker room. This has been the 3rd robbery that Sanders has unfortunately been the target of.

At the beginning of the 2021 school year, the Jackson State University locker room endured the same fate. The only difference from the recent incident is that Sander’s items were the only ones stolen.

This was an unfortunate event that would make Sanders pay close attention to security and everything in between. After a 53-0 win against Edward Waters, Sanders was shocked to see items missing from his desk.

As a result of this, many measures were taken for this not to happen on the Jackson State campus or locker room again. Sanders was livid as items were taken from the Jackson State locker room.

The items that were taken were Sander’s cell phone and wallet. The items were eventually returned to Sanders and an investigation was put in place.

This incident was not just the only one to happen to the former Jackson State head coach. A separate incident also occurred during the 2021 season as well in which his radio/speaker was stolen.

Unfortunately, this was not the last time this would happen to him.  Following the UCLA loss on Oct. 28, items were reported stolen from the Colorado locker room.

Sanders would not be the victim this time, instead it was the players. Multiple players would report stolen items missing from their lockers after the game.

The items would include personal jewelry from players on the team. This would prompt Sanders to speak on the situation.

According to ESPN, Sanders stated, “I’m going to have a list made out from these young men, and I know they’re going to be truthful about what they lost, so we can try and get it back for them.”

Sanders also came up with a solution to the problem that would directly involve the Rose Bowl Operating Company.

According to ESPN, Sanders stated, “They may not be able to get the items back, but they should be able to reimburse them.”

Sanders was not the only one to feel that way but student-athletes of the Colorado team had the same sentiments as well.

According to Camron Silmon-Craig via X, formerly known as Twitter, “YOU WOULD THINK YOUR STUFF SAFE IN THE LOCKER ROOM.” The statement was followed by an angry face emoji.

Silmon-Craig is not the only player to be robbed of his belongings. Wide receiver and Cornerback for Colorado Travis Hunter, used this situation to reinforce his beliefs on not bringing a bag.

According to Bleacher Report, Hunter stated, “That’s why I don’t wear jewelry. That’s hard work and money. You won’t see me with no bags ’cause I’m not trying to get my stuff stolen.”

Hunter also stated, “I’ll probably have like one bag. If I brought more bags, I would’ve still been in Cali (California) right now.”

Some players do not feel a certain way about this situation. According to X, Jordan Domineck outside linebacker for Colorado stated, “Forgive and forget. To whoever snuck into the locker room and stole my chain, as well as my teammate’s chains, I forgive you and wish you nothing but the best. Hopefully, you turn your life around with whatever you get for mine, and you learn from this. It’s all love.”

As time progresses, the Pasadena Police Department has come up with some recent developments that include the items being returned. With the help of the tip line, the two suspects were able to be found. Their identities of the two have not been uncovered.
