With spring fastly approaching it is important to many that they know the styles that will be “in” this spring. Knowing where to shop this spring to get fly is a must.

When asked where the best place to get fly is Jara Neal, a sophomore communication disorders major from Jackson, Miss., said, “Urban Outfitters, Forever 21, and boutiques are the best places to shop. The more urban look and a lot of vintage clothing are in style for the spring.”

So what’s in for this spring? Flemming said, “I really think Oxfords are in style.”

Caryn-Aldo Carter, a junior business administration major from Atlanta, Ga., said, “Snap backs, adidas, Levis, and hoodies are definitely in style now.”

According to Glamour.com ladies should dig through Mom’s (or Grandma’s) closet to find oldies but goodies such as ladylike watches, woven bracelets, tasseled loafers and a natty striped tote. Wear these once-out-of-date accessories all together (the more the merrier!) and look totally 2011.

When asked what style he feels is in for the spring Darius Kennebrew, a senior psychology major from Little Rock, Ark. said, “The college prep style is in. The clean-cut look with button down Polos, and cargo shorts is in. Many bright colors will be seen in the spring.”

Goodbye boring colors! According to fashionising.com as winter gives way to the warmer months of 2011 we’ll say farewell to the heavier, darker looks and welcome light fabrics and sexier looks.

A style that has been seemingly popular is the military look. Glamour.com states that ladies should track down cargo jackets or military-inspired vests sooner rather than later. Tough-looking top + flirty bottom = year-round outfit perfection.

Here is the big question. Is it possible to be fashionable for the spring without breaking the bank? Neal, Flemming, Carter, and Kennebrew all said yes.

According to Glamour.com there is no easier or more affordable way to update your look in a hurry—just slip on an armful of colorful plastic or wooden bangles. With a little sleuthing, you can find expensive-looking bracelets for under $10 each.

Guys you have not been forgotten, according to theurbangent.com a pair of Toms, a pair of ray bans, and a cardigan are the perfect combination.

From Neal’s earlier statement it is clear that one of the trends for the spring is the urban look. Carter describes his style as urban.

A lot of the spring 2011 trends will come from celebrities, so stay on the lookout for the latest spring fashions.
