Rappers Nicki Minaj and Remy Ma have reignited a decade long beef that has set social media and the airwaves on fire.
The two are using what they do best, rap, to throw punches rivaling Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson in their intensity with diss tracks “shETHER(Remy Ma)” and “No Frauds(Nicki Minaj)”.
According to TMZ.com, the feud between the two started in 2007 and sizzled out when Remy Ma was incarcerated for accidently shooting her friend.
“It is entertaining to see the feud that has built up over the years and is now being overly publicized, but the only two people that really know what happened are Nicki and Remy,” said Erick Black, a senior physical therapy major from Jackson, Miss.
Since her release in 2014, it is evident that there is still animosity between the two. Remy Ma’s “shETHER” dropped in March of 2017, and was aimed directly at Minaj. According to Lyrics.com, it is still evident that the feud is running high, “You wore a pink diamond chicken wing chain (are you dumb?), you had a leopard beehive on your head (are you dumb?)” were some of the lyrics used to diss Minaj.
Opinions run high when it comes to who the winning rapper was in this feud.
Minaj fired back within days with the track entitled “No Frauds.” According to WorldStar.com, Minaj’s song was filled with lyrics like, “They say numbers don’t matter but when they discussin’ the kings, they turn around and say LeBron ain’t got six rings.”
Celebrities and fans flocked to Twitter and other social media to give their opinions of the tracks.

Shether is a better diss than no frauds but no frauds is a better song and will be playing way more regularly IMO … just an opinion Nicki buried the lede. The story is she took almost 2 weeks to respond, yet wants a response in 72 hours and then offers Remy hush money.
