From educational expert and keynote speaker Cynthia M.A. Butler-McIntyre delivering
a fiery inspirational message at Founder’s Day and the Coronation of Miss JSU Destiney Lawrence to JSU’s illustrious Sonic Boom of the South battling Prairie View A&M’s Marching Storm Band, a flood of Greek organizations stepping rhythmically to the sounds of Drake and Future blaring over loud speakers to
the Prancing J-Settes reminding everyone where Beyonce’ learned some of her dance moves – Jackson State’s 2016 homecoming offered a healthy dose of entertainment for all.

But, one would be remiss not to acknowledge a traditional ingredient in the awesomeness of a JSU Homecoming gumbo – the alumni. This year, like every year, a large number of alumni returned to remember their “heyday,” reconnect with old faces and dish advice to current students.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column type=”” top_margin=”none” width=”1/1″][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner el_class=”” width=”1/1″][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row type=”” top_margin=”none”][vc_column type=”” top_margin=”none” width=”1/2″][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column type=”” top_margin=”none” width=”1/2″][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
