In evaluating the QEP proposals submitted, the QEP Topic Selection Committee is guided by the following considerations. If you are preparing or evaluating a QEP proposal, please bear them in mind.
The proposal should articulate clear goals.
The focus should be on student learning and/or student success.
The topic should be aligned with the JSU mission and strategic plan.
The topic should be relevant to JSU needs and opportunities.
The potential impact should be substantial, in terms of both the number of students impacted and the benefits for each student.
The plan should be achievable with reasonable resources.
It should be possible to implement the plan fully within 5 years.
It should be possible to assess the extent to which the goals have been achieved.
